How do I prepare for my Ultrasound? Drink 6-8 glasses of water before your ultrasound. it is important that your bladder is full of water before your ultrasound. For Abdominal Ultrasound, you are require to fast (not eat anything) for 4 - 6 hours before your ultrasound. NB: If you are unsure of your ultrasound, kindly email us or call our receptionist for additional information.
