A basic health check, is a general health check-up or wellness exam, is a routine medical examination that is aimed at assessing an individual's overall health status. It typically includes a review of the person's medical history, measurements such as blood pressure, heart rate, height, and weight, as well as a physical examination. Depending on the individual's age, sex, and medical history, additional tests such as blood tests, cholesterol screening, and other diagnostic tests may be recommended. The purpose of a basic health check is to detect any potential health issues early, when they are most treatable, and to promote healthy habits and preventive care.
